Including important information about facilities, parking and our Ts&Cs.


Rooms all feature a flat-screen TV, Wireless internet, tea/coffee making facilities and an en suite toilet and shower. Hairdryers and Ironing facilities are available at no extra cost upon request at reception, we would be pleased to bring these items to you in your room.


Shoreline does not offer on premises parking. On street parking is allowed and is free of charge - this is extremely limited. Council run Pay and Display parking is available opposite the hotel. This is a 48 Space car park. Up to one hour is charged at £1.50, two hours £3.00 and all day parking is charged at £5.00 (badge holders can park for up to four hours for £1.50 and all day for £3.00). Parking is free between the hours of 7:00PM and 9:00AM. Cash and card payments are accepted however please be aware that on regular occasions this card payments are not available - a ticket is required to park in the car park.


Whilst the pay and display car park might seem full at a first glance on a busy night, there is overspill car parking found past the yellow sign at the far end. Whilst this parking area used to be free, a payment machine has recently been fitted.

We cannot reserve parking nor do we have any discount permits.

Checking In and Checking Out

Check-in is open from 2PM daily and closes at 10PM. If you anticipate that you will be arriving after 10PM it is vital that you contact us and arrange a late check-in in order to avoid your reservation being marked as a no-show and your card charged. If you anticipate that you will be arriving before 2PM please contact us to request an early check-in - it may be possible to arrange an early check-in. If you have not arranged an early check-in in advance we can not guarantee that your room will be available or that check-in trained staff will be available, if we have the space available and staff are on hand, we will happily store your bags.

Check-out closes at 11AM. If you anticipate that you will be need a later check-out please let us know.

Sea View Requests

We will be happy to request a sea view room for you, however there is no guarantee that we will be able to accommodate you in one in case the room has to be taken out of action. Room allocation is made on the day before arrival so we can NEVER confirm that you have received a sea view.


You must keep your key on you at all times, even when you're going out as this includes a front door access key so you can access the building at any time. Keys must be returned to us upon check-out. Lost keys will incur a £20.00 charge for a replacement.

Wireless internet

Wireless internet is available for free. Guest speed is limited to provide a fair internet service to all of our guests. Although we endeavor to have this working at all times, we can not guarantee that the service will be working during your stay nor can we guarantee that the service will be available in your room.


British law does not allow smoking in enclosed public spaces therefore smoking is not permitted in any of the guest rooms or public areas. Smoking is allowed in some outdoor public areas.

Tampering or setting off smoke detectors is strictly prohibited and we will have no hesitation in charging you for a qualified electrician to fix the problem (Usually £100) plus a deep cleaning fee. If your room has a fire escape, you must not use it as a smoking area, this will count as smoking in the room and charges will still apply if the room smells of smoking or if smoke detectors are set off as a result.


Stag/Hen parties are prohibited.

Payments can only be made by cash, Visa cards, Mastercards, Maestro cards and American Express cards. A Valid credit/debit card will be required to make the booking. Bookings without credit/debit cards may be resold with warning.

Please be aware that all cards are checked for authenticity, so you may see a small payment pending on your online banking. This payment will not be taken and it is up to your own bank to decide when those funds can be released back to you.


We work on the assumption that any dietary requirements have been noted on your arrival card. Please speak to our staff about the ingredients in your breakfast, when making your order if not discussed upon arrival. If selecting pre packaged items from our buffet please consult the food label.

We would be pleased to order vegetarian sausages in to go with our standard Veggie Breakfast. Please mention this at the point of booking in the requests box or let us know before arrival.
